I inherited my passion for backgammon from my father.
It was always more than a game it was time spent together, strategy shared, moments that stayed.
So when his 60th birthday came around, I knew it had to be something different.
Something personal. Something lasting.
I didn’t want to buy a gift.
I wanted to create one.
Where It All Began
I set out to design a backgammon board just for him something original, something he had never seen before.
I quickly realized what was missing.
Traditional boards were beautiful, but bulky.
Great for display, not always for movement.
I wanted both.
So I combined everything I loved
the elegance of traditional gameplay,
and my passion for working with leather
and began crafting something entirely new.
That’s how the first roll-up travel backgammon board was born.
Refined, functional, and designed to move.
FROM ONE GIFT TO A BRAND
My father loved it.
But what surprised me most…
so did everyone else.
Friends, players, collectors the reaction was immediate.
People didn’t just admire it. They wanted one.
What started as a personal gift quickly turned into something bigger.
And that’s how Bos Backgammon came to life.
Our Atelier
Each Bos Backgammon piece is crafted in our Bali atelier,
Production is limited to preserve integrity.
Leather is hand-selected and stitched with precision.
Boards are balanced & Refined.
Checkers are made individually from marble, wood with brass, or precious stone and sterling silver.
Chosen for their weight and their feel.
Unhurried. Exacting. Intentional.
Every detail matters
